Update

Nathan:
Nathan got his trach out last Tuesday and was able to go outside for the first time since the accident! It has been awesome for him.
We were able to go on an architecture tour as a family this weekend and Nathan was able to see, hug, kiss and cuddle his buddy and niece Haley Grace. He was in heaven.
He is getting stronger by the day and his spirits are rising as well.

Mom:
Mom has been transferred to the ICU at Luthern General Hospital due to contracting MERSA in her trach area. She spiked a temp of close to 103 and was having difficulty breathing due to the strain on her body. We are waiting for results to find out about the other infection(s) that the doctors believe she has. She has been placed back on the ventilator to assist her in breathing again as well.
