Hospitalized...

Nathan has had a high temperature since the weekend and though it was thought that he had a UTI, that is unfortunately not the case. He was transferred to Northwestern Memorial Hospital yesterday and has been undergoing many tests. They think he has a kidney infection which would mean that he would need to be monitored closely for the next 10-14 days. Therefore, that might mean that he doesn't get to utilize his last rehab days at RIC. We are realllllly hoping that is not the case and Nathan is extrememly bummed to hear this news. Please keep him in your prayers.

Nathan can't have visitors yet until they release him from isolation. Only immediate family at this time. When that changes, I will definitely post to let everyone know.

Also, we found out that Mom has a fever now as well. While hers is a low grade, we are expecting it to grow to a high grade fever as she seems to never quite be able to completely fight off the infections that she gets even with the assistance of antibiotics. We will post more as we know of it.

All of this running between hospitals and the stress and lack of sleep is exhausting. We just appreciate you all keeping us in your prayers. It's amazing to me how God continues to just have things "work out" no matter the exhaustion and has still allowed us time to laugh in the meantime. There are always things to be thankful for.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Sonya
