Nathan continues to be in critical condition. He is fighting an infection, most likely from the pneumonia, which is causing his fever. His heart rate is at 90, which is an improvement from yesterday. He is stable, but this fluctuates. The medical staff is taking heightened precautions due to his episodes yesterday, so they are able to catch and address issues before they could potentially develop into something worse.
Please continue to pray for Nathan's well being, as well as the medical staff that is supporting him.
At this point, the Schusters are getting the support that they need from family. There will be many ways to help in the upcoming months. Please keep checking back for ways to assist.
