Nix that – The world will have to wait another 24 hours for the debut of Brittany sporting the hottest accessory of Summer ‘09. She will be discharged from Delnore tomorrow.
Nathan has a fever again but this time they were able to move him so he could be placed on the cooling mat, instead of it being laid on his body. Oxygen is at 95 and at 100% again. His pneumonia is slightly breaking up and the physical therapist was able to move his leg a bit today. He is still critical, but he is such a fighter – Just like every other Schuster.
I spoke with Donna, a close family friend of the Schusters, who has been with them through this. The family has everything that they need. The cooking, laundry, etc has been a good distraction – Anyone who has had Mrs. Hahn’s cooking knows not to kick her out of the kitchen :) . As family members need to go back to work, there will be many opportunities to help the Schusters. I know that they appreciate everyone’s willingness to help. I promise to post needs as they come up.
Please remember to save the date for good times with good friends for a good cause - Saturday, July 11! More details to come.
